La Turba has carried out residencies at the Universidad Internacional de Andalucía (Spain, 2024), Subscena Team (Croatia, 2023) or Brote (Argentina, 2016), among others, and co-produced IMAGINARIO CORPORAL: EFECTO MIGRATORIO (Madrid, 2023) with Teatros del Canal, directed by choreographer Poliana Lima. The piece has been presented at Teatro Central in Seville, selected for the 2025 season at Centro Cultural Gabriela Mistral (GAM) in Santiago de Chile, included in the catalogues of the Andalusian Theatre Network and the Madrid Theatre Network, and presented at TANZMESSE 2024 with the support of SGAE and the Andalusian Agency for Cultural Institutions.
Within the company she also develops mediation projects such as LO QUIERO TO, presented at Teatro Pradillo (Madrid), in residence with Subscena Team (Zagreb) and at Festival Bucles Valencia 2025.
Her work explores the fusion of dance, theatre and performance, developing an evolving physical language that investigates the body, the limits between reality and fiction, and satire. In recent years she has incorporated artistic mediation, memory and archive as central lines within her creative processes.
In 2014 she founded La Turba Company, where she has created and directed works that have toured national and international festivals in countries such as Chile, Argentina, Romania, Bangladesh, Egypt, Croatia, Mongolia and Sri Lanka, often with the support of the Spanish Embassies and Instituto Cervantes.

Berzal has received awards such as Best Actress at the Alexandria Theatre Festival (Egypt, 2022) for Ofelia Vegetariana and the Grand Prix of Performing Arts from ARS Mediterránea International (2021) for Mi Bandera.

As a playwright she won the 17th Crea Sevilla Joven Award with El Nunca Acabar (2020), published in Teatro para una crisis by the Andalusian Agency for Cultural Institutions (2021). In 2025 she published Filipo in the “Textos Dramáticos” collection of the same agency. She was finalist of the 2025 European Dramatic Residency at the Centro Dramático Nacional and participated in the New Playwriting Laboratory at Donostia Kultura (2021). She is currently developing Caniche con Bozal: Manual de Instrucciones para Bailar, a research and mediation project supported by the Ministry of Equality.
In her collaborative work, she acts as co-director and dramaturgical collaborator with the company Fix+Foxy (Denmark), as assistant director and production collaborator with choreographer Rhea Volij (Argentina), as a dancer in the ERASMUS+ project in Austria and Poland, and as an actress with La Biche Volante (France), among other international contexts.
She is co-founder of La Decadensia together with María Cazenave, with the support of PASO AL SUR and in collaboration with FIT Cádiz, FITA Alentejo, Feria de Palma del Río and the Andalusian Agency for Cultural Institutions, and part of the 2025 Circuit of the Spanish Alternative Theatre Network. With this company she premiered Las Desqueridas, nominated for Best Breakthrough Production at the 2023 Lorca Awards, and Las Propietarias, with four nominations at the 2025 PAD Awards. In 2025 they premiered the short film Las Desqueridas, presented at the Seville European Film Festival, where it received the Rosario Valpuesta Special Award and the First Prize at the Diputación de Sevilla Short Film Competition. She co-directs the stage and musical project COREA with Montse Rueda, supported by the Magallanes_ICC Project Bank of the Seville City Council, and produces together with Wura Moraes the project Sounding Bodies in Nature, supported by IBERESCENA and Culture Mobilities.
She was a finalist in the 2025 European Playwriting Residency at the Spanish National Drama Centre. She is currently working on Caniche con Vozal: Manual de Instrucciones para Bailar, a research project supported by a grant from the Universidad Internacional de Andalucía.

She has been invited as a speaker at CREATIVE-2025 organized by Rabindra Bharati University (India).
