La Turba has carried out residencies at the Universidad Internacional de Andalucía (Spain, 2024), Subscena Team (Croatia, 2023), and Brote (Argentina, 2016), and co-produced the piece IMAGINARIO CORPORAL: EFECTO MIGRATORIO (Madrid, 2023) with Teatros del Canal. This piece was selected to promote Andalusian culture at TANZMESSE 2024 thanks to SGAE and the Andalusian Agency for Cultural Institutions.
She focuses on an evolving physical language, delving into the body, the boundaries between reality and fiction, and satire.
In 2014, she founded the company La Turba, where she has created and directed works that have toured national and international festivals in countries such as Chile, Argentina, Romania, Bangladesh, Egypt, Croatia, and Mongolia.
Es una artista escénica formada en Arte Dramático, con especialización en Interpretación Textual. Su trabajo explora la fusión de danza, teatro y performance. Su trabajo se centra en un lenguaje físico en evolución, explorando el cuerpo, los límites entre realidad y ficción y la sátira.

Berzal has received awards such as Best Actress at the Alexandria Theatre Festival (Egypt, 2022) for Ofelia Vegetariana and the Grand Prix of Performing Arts from ARS Mediterránea International (2021) for Mi Bandera.

As a playwright, she won the 17th Crea Sevilla Joven Award with El Nunca Acabar (2020), published in Teatro para una crisis, edited by the Andalusian Agency for Cultural Institutions (2021). In 2025, Filipo will be published as part of the “Textos Dramáticos” collection, also edited by the Andalusian Agency for Cultural Institutions.

She is co-founder of the company La Decadensia alongside María Cazenave, with support from PASO AL SUR in collaboration with FIT Cádiz, FITA Alentejo, Feria Palma del Río, and the Andalusian Agency for Cultural Institutions. She co-directs the stage and music project COREA with Montse Rueda, supported by the Magallanes_ICC Project Bank of the City of Seville. She produces with Wura Moraes and collaborates on the creation of the project SOUNDING BODIES IN NATURE, supported by IBERESCENA and Culture Mobilities.
Alongside her creative work, she is also a teacher and seminar coordinator, having taught at institutions such as the Cervantes Institute in Alexandria, the Higher School of Dramatic Arts of Seville, and festivals such as Nandimukh (Bangladesh), Parade of Winners (Mongolia), as well as dance schools like La Visiva Barcelona, Galpón FACE Buenos Aires, and 180º Madrid. She has also been invited as a speaker at CREATIVE-2025 organized by the Department of Rabindra Bharati University in India.
